Hello,
I would like to share with all of you who likes to do anything Electronics REPAIRS.
I have been repairing all types of Electronics Repairs during these past 20 over years.
Now I am retired and would like to spend more time on my computer.
To start with, I would like to share some thoughts on Electronics Repairs.
Safety First.
Always try NOT to wear loose clothing as they might get entangled.
Wear rubber boots if possible.
Keep your hands DRY always.
Place a rubber mat on the floor you are standing on.
Place some small containers by your workbench to keep the screws you work on,
so they don't drop onto the floor. Avoid stepping on them if they do drop.

Now working with electricity is dangerous.
Always have enough sleep before you work on a project.
If you do feel tired out, please stop work immediately.
Have a good rest before you continue.

Make full use our 5 sences

Whatever that you may be repairing or trying to repair, please do make use of your 5 sences.
First take a look careful look at everything, the board, components, wirings, main wire/cables, casings, the cabinet inself etc.

Check to see that they are not burnt, change of colors, blacken, broken......
Check to see if there's any foreign bodies inside like insects, lizards, mice, ants, cockroches found dead inside. Check to see power cables not rat bitten.
Most of these causes short circuits.

Next, use your nose to smell out any odours like burning smells, dying foreign bodies found underneate the motherboards or in-between components.

Check the power supply plugs/sockets for loose connections. Change if found worn out.
Squeeze or press the wires to see if they are hard or stiff.
Replace them if found stiff.

These applies to all household appliances.
