Power Supply Load.

For most of the Power Supply repairs, I noticed that most technicians do not know how or have the need to know how to use Power Loads.
For conventional power supplies, you do not need a load as you can measure it's output directly.
But for Switched Mode Power Supplies, you do need a load.
SMPS have a current sense to shut down the power supply if it sense a short or open circuitry.
It is light in weight and uses less components as compaired to it's conventional types.
My former post shows a few sencore courses which I bought for my learning experiences.
If you like, I can make it into dvd format for you or you can get it downloadable for a fee.
All the best.
Keep learning.
