LCD monitors Vs CRT monitors

LCD monitors Vs CRT monitors.

All these years I have been using CRT monitors.
From CGA to VGA to SVGA.
For those who dont know what is CGA, VGA and SVGA,
I will explain in more details in this blog next week.
LCD monitors is still new in the market over in this part of the world.
Whereas CRT monitors are already here for a decade.
Most people here still uses CRT monitors until they break down.
They will still not change over to LCD monitors as yet.
They will send it for repair and continue using it until it breaks down again
and again until one day it is beyond repair.
Beyond repair means......
either too expensive to repair...
got a weak tube or broken tube...

Then when it comes time to purchasing a new one,
one thinks twice whether to buy back a CRT type or LCD type.

Take a good look at a CRT type monitor display.
What do you notice?
Well, then look carefully at a LCD monitor display.
One will notice that while looking at a certain angle, the display color
seems slightly out of tune.
Then it wont seem the same while looking at a CRT screen.

Well, the time will come when LCD designs get a better hand over the CRT ones.
Next comes the repair obtions.
There are less components inside the LCD monitors.
It is less weight. Not bulky in size and appearance.
More nice looking.
For those that need more info on LCD repairs and maintainance.
I do recommend Jestine's ebook on LCD monitor repairs.
